Don’t shoot common infected!
[
by Elipsysl0x ]
Hey guys! This is my first post so be nice…
I’ve been doing some research on tactics in Left 4 Dead 2, and one that really astonished me said to not shoot any common infected. You’re probably thinking that you’d have to be mad to do that, but actually there is a theory behind it…
So assuming you’ve played a lot of L4D2 by now, you’ll hopefully realise that a major factor of surviving as humans is SPEED. Giving your opponents as few spawns as possible is the idea, which will give them a lower chance of chain capping, insta-kills, death pulls/charges, etc. Everybody has attempted to ‘rush’ through a map, but your speed often comes to a halt since you become surrounded by common infected. This is because you shot all of the common infected at the start of the map. Tut tut.
You can avoid hordes by killing as less common infected as possible at the start of the map. Since there is a common infected limit, it disables the spawn of new common infected until the first spawned ones are killed, or despawned. Even if the captions say ‘incoming attack’ there won’t be any horde in front of you, but instead far behind you!
So for the first half of the map, try your best to not shoot any common infected, shove them away and run. Doing this will eliminate a lot of common infected in the second half of the map, resulting in an easy run! Good luck and peace out

Team VS and getting to a higher level.

by DocFX ]
As you may have noticed, the team expanded and i won’t be able to play with you all every day from now on cause i got a lil less time and you are becoming more numerous shadows. I’m proud of our expansion.
SWS expands and though i still have my steam rating 10 non stop since 2 years thats not enough to meet you all every day and make sure that you don’t think I forgot you.
Just wanted to tell you i want to see some more organisation in the team, i still need fun, I know you do too, but i’d like you to be a little more observative at what’s happening when we play. We all have things to learn, all the time. And we’re still learning now.
The best adivce i can give you is to play more. Free your minds, use spots you never thought about, be creative, be unforeseeable. I’ll write a tutorial about how to play on L4D2 soon, with all the work you’ll need. With all the details. I just need some time. You can watch the post i made on our site for L4D(1). Not brilliant but useful. I’ll write a better one for L4D2.
The best spot, though, is to play team VS. Some of you have reached such a level that you won’t be progressing on pubs anymore. Even if pubs improve, but too slowly.
Team VS is *not* hard, lots of noobs try to make noob teams and lose easily on team vs. That’s why we should give it a try. Of course there are pro teams on team vs, but never forget pro teams DONT play team VS. They play normal versus on their own pr0 servers with pro mods and ladder mods. Team VS is NOT that level. Its just a normal versus game without public access, nothing more.
But since we’ve always been a casual clan, this is gonna be hard for us. I won’t be asking you special dates, times, configs etc. You’re all free to join and leave. But if you could *sometimes* gather, be 4 connected at the same time, it’s worth giving a try. Usually a game takes less time than a normal vs, I’d say 60-75 mins.
If you’re reading this, it’s mainly because you trusted me once when we met and when you joined the community. Now is the time to trust me again. I’ve been playing with you all this week, and you all have things to learn yet.
I do have a lot, too.
The best way for most of you is to take some huge losses on team VS so you can at least watch mid/hi level ppl playing better than you and their techs.
You’ll learn faster than ever.
Now is the time the Shadow Worlds Societies get more than a tag, it’s time we get a name and attract people. I dream of standalone teams that could win without me. That will happen one day, but I can’t make it real without you all.
Unless your aim is not to push back your own limits, you can feel free to trust me once again, or not.
That means the next time we play, I wanna see serious people trying to improve, but still as friends. We’re not pr0s, but we can pretend we are some kind of. There’s still a lot of fun and crap jokes and laughing situations in making serious games. REALLY.
Hoping to see you soon, and hoping I’m not pissing you off, in the mean time, this is where I get off. Meet you as soon as possible. Hope you’ll get my message.

As you might have noticed and as several old members asked me recently what had happened, the good’ol clan dismembered.
As all leaders are gone (farewell, guys, hope to see you again), I’m offcially taking the socalled lead of the clan.
I’m aiming more at building a community than anything else. All you require is brain and a few skills.
Giving up L4D, we’ll now be playing on L4D2. Still searching for members. Only recruiting way is in game.
I’ll be updating the whole site as soon as i got time. Been rather busy over the past months.
Hope we meet again, bb guys.

L4D² announced one year after the first opera

Kinda bullshit it’s rather a new game than an update to the existing one… The ideas that appear in that video were already present before the first L4D.
Good news, but makes me doubt about future L4D updates… Killing a newborn game like this with such a success…
Left 4 Dead advanced gaming techs
[
by DocFX ]

Hi guise !
Along with the realease of the survival pack a few weeks ago, new fags have come the sphere of gamers on the game, and many stupid noobs are beginning to improve seriously.
I’ve been playing this game since the beginning and I’ve seen people improving regularly on this, I’ve seen the noobs returning situations and taking advantage of misplays to win hundreds of times. I already have more than 500 hours of gaming on L4D, and things are getting quite recurring now. People have begun to spot all glitches and camping places on new maps.
I will mainly talk about PUG (public gaming/gamers) and PUS (public servers), since there’s no real need to say what has to be done on private servers and, therefore, wars and such things.
I will give you a few techs you may want to keep in mind any time you should be playing.
Consider these techs for they are useful to survive on any match or tournament on L4D. Especially because the game is very different when both teams are good from when both teams suck.

First of all, Survivors. Here are some techs to try to make all four human dumbasses make it to the safe room. Most terms here are from my imagination, so don’t be surprised if you never heard them. This could be useful for iRage team members.
Team stretching : which means gathering and scattering. Gathering because most noobs have understood that the best thing to kill a survivor is to attack it alone. With any zombie, for any reason. Should you be a smoker or above all hunter, you want to be isolated and munch your flesh peacefully. A lonely team member is a dead one. No more room for elite shooters and aimbot players. You will die whatever happens.
BUT ! Don’t be all the time just next to the survivors. Scatter, because when you hear a boomer, why don’t you just step back ? The first and only move you should make is to scatter, FFS, don’t be like a virgin waiting for your first fuck in a cold bed, MOVE !
There is always a blank core point position. This is how I call the center point in which zombies can’t spawn between all survivors and where normal zombies have almost no chance to hit. Make sure you always have a UNIQUE point like this. If you have more than one, it means some survivors are too far away from the others. If some survivors get out of sight from the other ones, this is considered the red point: the point you can’t be covered and saved if instant incap. Always stay in sight of M16′s and sniper rifles.- Random constant movement : Should you have nothing to do, move. Moving inwards break enemy morale, moving sideways covers more area with your team’s sight, and moving backwards involves the whole team preventing any “spawn tunnel” of zombies reaching you. This tech is just a way to avoid 1+ pounces without doing it on purpose. The furthest the hunter, the less you hear it coming.
- No chasing, whatever the pwnage you want to make on this noob hunter or smoker who’s reloading its tongue, just don’t chase it. Chasing leads to loneliness and, therefore, death. It’s a dangerous game to play : if you win, you break the zombies’ morale, if you lose it’s reversed and it’s your team that gets tired of it. Chasers are often the way for a team to lose 50% of a survivor’s health points at one time. A hunter alone takes 15 seconds to incap a survivor (average considered health points) and about as much to finish it once down.
Shiva stacking : the viewport of a survivor is a single point. They can stack without shooting each other. On a single point and in a corner, just keep the backpedal pressed all the time (you can crouch, nice if you’re playing with sniper / M16 / pistols). See what I mean on NM2, NM 4? You will push your teammates only if they don’t keep the key pressed all the time too.- Shooting diarrhea : most of finales and safe areas, away from all kind of risk involve you to save ammo.
Snipers don’t have ammo problems, since you play half time with pistols.
M16 has a huge ammo problem, for three reasons : beacause it’s the weapon noobs take, because it has no penetration through hordes, so people shoot like hell to or three times the same zombies, even the ones already down, and the last reason is that people don’t know how to do regular shots “CS-Like”. One of the first things you learn on CS (all versions) or Rainbow Six, Project IGI, Battlefield xx42, (etc.) is how to control your weapon.
The M16 in L4D has better stabilization and inertia than many other games have, making it closer to insane FPS than from discrete and infiltration FPS. For this reason, many people don’t reload and finish their clips. Don’t forget the minimal burst for M16 is 1 bullet (used to be 3).
Clips are not considered a whole in L4D, not realistic, but useful. You can spare each bullet for each weapon.
The shotgun has same trouble, but in a lesser extend. It’s not rare to see players unloading 3 or 4 shots for… a single zombie not even moving, you know what I’m talking about. When you play the line technic in DA5 for example and stay far away from ammo, don’t use all ammo even before the first tank is there, and don’t shoot it like hell, aiming half bullets besides it. Learn to play with pistols to save ammo: go to play some Survival first, you’ll see.
Shotfagging : when in doubt, use shotguns (SG). Most reactive and burst-damage weapon. Just look at stats. Auto-shotgun is the best weapon in game (I prefer the sniper, but I clearly admit the SG is the best one). Uzis are weaker than dual pistols in burst-fire, but better if only one pistol, and a bit (but not much) precise. The best teams just rush and use shotgun, wheter you like it or not. No real solution against this weap, only to wait before it’s empty and reloading.- Sniper clearance /avoid poking snipers : just make sure your snipers always have a clear view and are not bugged by random zombies. Any single shock will amplify sniper pattern’s size. Any. This means a single zombie hit, your own poke/melee/push, a claw, boomer AOE, etc. If in need to zoom, snipers are defenseless, for this reason it’s the less played weapon and the most difficult to master, not only IMO, it’s a common statement on forums.
Sniper instant zoom swap : learn to aim > zoom > shoot > zoom back (switch to pistols and immediately to main weapon if you like) for all really long distance shots. But remember you’ll need several bullets for hunters and smokers if not in head (yeah, boy, three of them 90-180-270 / 250). Prefer to try aiming the head when zooming if possible (as the rest of the time, but more here).- Akimbo rush : upon entering a new room or running a new and linear area, take pistols and rush like hell. Remember to aim the head. There’s no W4N D34G, but close to it. And take your time to aim in all directions because zombies are everywhere, especially when running at you. You can also crouch and empty rooms in advance with pistols while specials reload.
- Akimbo swap : as said before, switch to pistols at any time, even if only one when you rush or push to a new room. While there are no special infected, you have no reason to spoil ammo and use main weapons, ever versus a horde. Think about it and try, you’ll see. Takes some time but really efficient.
Spawn prevention : along with scattering, learn your spawn prevention area as a survivor and estimate the team’s one. Question is : where would you go if you were a special infected ? Then go there and prevent the other ones from respawning there. Learn critical points and try to cover them with sight or presence (your area goes through walls). Consider this as a CTF (capture the flag, n00b) or KOTH (king of the hill, n00b again) with points to capture to ensure progression.- Fake entrances : have not seen special infected for a while ? Check scores if they didn’t RQ (ragequit, lol, don’t you know anything ?) and how many of them are left, then consider faking movements upon entering new rooms you can’t overwatch. Just step in and back. Boomers often get lured this way and puke in the void.
Only problem with this : warn your team, because there will always be 2 noobs pushing your entrance a bit further if not without stopping. -_-
Circular spawn logic : there can only be one boomer and one smoker at a time. No hunter limit, it’s a default choice for AI director, one witch and one tank. Some very rare exceptions to this, such as DT3 (teh Curch, DING DONG ! remember ?), tank spawns which sometimes bugs and let a human have a boomer and an AI take yours. And of course, admin commands or cheats. Consider the time you haven’t seen boomer and smokers around you, and guess what’s coming next. You can almost predict it 80% of the time. If you don’t I’ll recurrently tell you. The way the AI chooses special infected is very continuous and linear, except for the choice of who is who, which is totally random. Only boomers are permanent danger: if you killed one, just rush for 30 secs to gain time. Same for zombies attacks: smokers take 15s to reload (last patch) and boomers take 30. So if you didn’t kill them, which is NOT a shame, just coutn along with pushing, and if you still hear them, you MUST know where they are going.- Voidwalking deaths : remember you can’t fly. Logical you said ? Then why are you jumping OVER this edge wall ? Then why are you staying on that fucking bridge made with planks? Lame smokers and knockbackers will try to make you fall from bridges and edges, especially on NM and DA. Sometimes you can be dragged even if there is a wall or a fence. So get away from edges and fenceless bridges. You can fall from lots of buildings and other heights.
Hunter knockback AOE and timings : you should be wondering all the time: if a hunter pounces the one next to you, how long will it take to you to recover and save him/her ? So just know about the pounce AOE and get away from it. A good saviour should be saving in one shot and before the hunter made any damage other than regular pounce damage. Hunters are the enemy you’ ll meet most often. Prepare to face it, for they make about 60% of the special infected. The best way to get pwned is continuous aftershock from hunters, pouncing one by one, if not in dual/triple assault. Just get away from your teammates so you can save them fast and they can do the same for you. Even noobs understood that best attacks are chain attacks (first one incapped, and saviour getting busy with another infected while first one losing health). So, in order to avoid them just get reflexes, and stay away from your teammates, especially if you’re in twin progression or turnback. When you are two survivors, you can survive a few minutes if only one is incapped at a time, but not both of them.- Tank dodging : most people use tank punches ASAP and all the time, so just hear out the time it takes for them to reload and make a small jump or back move at the right moment. Not so easy, but not so hard, even since last patch where tank is now dealing AOE damage. Dodging a tank 5 times makes 10 sec bonus on a tank. Considering a tank takes 30 secs to kill with 4 full-time shooting survivors, and 1 min with burning and no shot, this should give you hope, doesn’t it? Dodged tanks often get mad and try to focus on the dodger, making it a personal revenge. Take advantage of this focusing and shoot it from the back!
Pistol switch : Don’t forget that Sniper is useless while rushing, so for mid-range targets and reg zombies, use you akimbos, even if you don’t have two. Having 15 bullets ready all the time can’t be a bad thing for the loser you forgot behind.- Continuous reload : especially on finals and especially with shotguns. Learn to use bullets one by one with SG, mostly on forced hordes like the lift in NM4. Shoot > reload > shoot > reload etc. No need to shoot more than 3 times consecutively with SG while not moving. Keep 5 bullets for the time a smoker or hunter appears. Empty clips with SG means you’re a noob. Am I wrong ?
- Spawn anticipation : already explained above: try yo aim where you know zombies are supposed to spawn, you have a few chances to hit one. Behind doorways, walls of rooms that have an open door, good spots for 1+ pounces, etc.
- Tank auto-SG rushing : don’t run away from a tank too much, better unload a whole SG clip in the ass : 960 damage in burst fire (reduced to 75% since march patch because it was BS). You need to do a perfect unload three times ! Not so hard?
- Witch longshots : most noobs will now try to make you get busy while the witch is startled. Don’t let them this pleasure. Advise your team to stay back in a clear position, about 50 meters far away from the witch (2000 HP now in VS, not 1000 anymore and waking up in 2 secs since last patch), and let everyone reload. Aim the head with sniper to knock it, then YEEEEHAAAAA !! M16 unload ful cartridge with 6 bullet bursts and SG stay away from fire line and wait for the last moment to save the one who triggered it. SG are very important here, don’t forget them: they must make at least 5 HS to the running witch.
Think about longshots if the zombie team is good, if you haven’t seen any for a while or if you’re not sure. But shout it in the mic or a noob will rush it without knowing what to do. Cr0wning is nice, longshot is nice, but running on witch without doing anything is… lethal.
Witch burning : … and yes, another solution is to make it burn. She runs worse, slower, gets easier to spot and bugs a lot (and of course burns a bit, but that almost won’t count except if she bugs). Don’t forget that witch pathing is *a bit* buggy. Take advantage of it. Remember she can also attack another target and even hit two survivors if she runs into a neutral fire while rushing you!- Start rush, don’t forget you kit, weapon and pistol. Zombies have random countdown from their connection date at start, all being different. Take advantage of it. Zombies are shit if organized and won’t miss.
- Molotov > Tank > Survivors : you have NO (did I say NO ?) reason to use molotovs on anything else than a tank. If you can’t manage the zombies and have to use molotovs, you won’t be able to manage the tank.
Exceptions : really hard horde from quad puke, some difficulties to reach your team being stuck by a horde, or having too many molotovs in your team. And of course, if the tank is already dead. Makes no bonus in safe room, so BURN IT after the tank is dead. Suicide molotov is a nice tech too. If you get stuck alone by normal zombies, burn yourself. Zombies are disabled in fire immediately as they get in contact with it. Rotten flesh is full of methan. Don’t forget to check you have enough health or pills. - Chamber sniffers : remember to check every item spawn point around you. Even the most stupid ones. Kits and weapons points are shared for both teams but everything else is randomly distributed along the map. You can find items in hidden corners (DA1 at start), behind desks (NM4 after last stairs), behind bushes (BH3 above exit) etc. You must AT LEAST know every advanced weapon spawn points.
- 1+ pounce dodging : when you know there are heights, at least one team member (but not all) must look above his/her team and warn or move each time there’s a hunter on a roof, a crane or a tree, for example. Don’t get stupidly 25′ed. You know when it’s possible, so don’t play like fags. Use environment as an umbrella. You can’t get 25′ed under a pipe or a doorway or behind crates. Think about it.
- Full = safe : keep your both main weapon and pistols realoded all the time if you don’t need them. You should be reloading all the time in such a game. Just learn to check out that you already have max ammo in current clip. These are round numbers : 15, 30, 8, 30, 50, 15. Don’t forget dual pistols take 2.8 sec to reload, single one takes 2.0s. Taking a second pistol reloads them both at one time up to 30 total ammo.
- John Williams is dead : remove that fucking IG music. You can’t play the game with it, I know it’s part of the game, but you’ll take in average 15% more damage with ambient sounds and music together. Just cut it, or choose a value between 0 and 10% just to hear a tank coming before the ground shakes. If you have doubts or can’t play like this, just activate full subtitles : everything is written on, but only half time you’ll hear the tank noises and grunting before his presence is displayed in the subtitles.
Yoda is teh force : when a tank launches a rock on you you can stop it before it reaches you. It has 50 health but moves quite fast ! Just remember this scene from SW : Episode 1 when Doku tries to crunch Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon, who get saved by Yoda. You can shoot the rock, but prefer moving away and exlode it sideways.- Hunter wipeout : there are two ways to kill a hunter with a SG or adv. weapon :
1) HS
2) Melee (shove) + pwnage (one shot with both SG). If you’re not sure, use another melee. Help your teammates to melee the knocked-down hunter. Having a noob clawing you for free is a fucking shame, even since last patch (hunter recoil/recover reduced). No tolerance with this.
Boomer organization : when a boomer is coming to you, don’t shoot it like a noob. Try to shove first, then ask your team to move out. If you’re not the one that pushes it back, just run away. There is NO EXCUSE for having a survivor covered with bile once the boomer is pushed back and incapped. Hard on public servers, but if you shout a lot and loud, people will pay attention.

Now teh zombies, NOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM !!!! etc. For those who like cooking and don’t need and heat. Cause crude flesh might be better and have moar vitamins.
- Smoker falling incap: not only on NM5, you can make people fall down from edges being a smoker. Four possibilities : edge incap, edge falldown with damage, edge falldown with death (“yes, you can”, as said Mr Obama) and back drag, forcing survivors to wait for the last one. DA campaign is nice for this, too.
- Hunter overpounces (1+ pounces) : you should only be trying this as a hunter, no simple pounces. Taking 1 min to get a spot to make 15-25 damage is better than taking 5 secs to pounce and make 2 damage, get wiped, die and wait 30 secs more. Don’t attack without overpounce, it’s useless unless you’re sure to hit survivor 3 times or more.
Discrete tank mortar : don’t rush survivors who still have 50%+ health and kits, you wil fail. Only need to rush if a boomer puked on two or more. There is NO SHAME in letting the tank to one of your teammates, and NO SHAME in letting the tank to AI. AI will always hit one survivor, because the AI tank runs faster than green ones, whereas human tanks don’t. I know there is tempation with tanks, but don’t. Mortar tank is the best way to use it. Be careful most lamers will molo you when they hear you launch a rock. The noise is really different. If a mortar tank gets rushed by molo survivor YOU MUST take an infected and focus on the running fag.
Just hide and fire in the hole. Rocks deal AOE too and kick ass. Special infected have a highway when a tank is there, don’t fail and motivate the team. You can do it easily. Even if tank dies, it must have dealt at least more than 50% of damage to all survivors before dying.
Sometimes you’ll spawn in fire. Don’t RQ, tell other, cry a bit then RAGE RUSH !
If your tank is getting on fire, do’nt just blame it, STFU and help it: it’s not too late. You have 1 min free, don’t spoil it. A tank alone can’t win. It’s just a regular special infected now and needs the whole team to win. It just makes the game a bit different.- Tank insane targeting : although damage ain’t localized on tanks (yes, they have no head either), mostsurvivors prefer to shoot you in the back. Turn back all the time and change your target as often as you can. If you’re not the tank, help it: tell it when survivors are on its back. Surprising and efficient. Better have 2/4 survivors knockback on the ground being green than 3/4 in red shooting you like hell.
- Flying boomers : get on heights, take some air, speed, then spawn in the air hen you know people will run out. The spawn prevention advisor is a bit laggy and you can spawn in the air when survivors can see you. Puke in the air or on the ground. This is too fast for most survivors and they won’t know what to do against a boomer in the middle of the group. In worst cases, they’ll shoot you. In worst, you’ll puke on them all. Hard the first time, but you’ll learn that quick.
- Shoutspam / tonguespam : when you’re playing against aimfags who just want you to spawn so they can’t SHOOT YOU ! YOU HEAR MEH ! I NEED TARGETS ! I’M DUMB QUAKE/CS PLAYER I DON’T UNDERSTAND THIS GAME SO I JUST INTEND TO MAKE HS ! BOOM HS ! COME ON ZOMBIES !! ………
Sorry about this. You know what I’m talking about. These aimfags are a real pain in the ass and make the game less interesting. In the worst cases, just make them busy. Are they just searching a target ? Then offer them one. Just jump around as fast as you can with hunters and hide with smokers, using your tongue on nothing every 2 secs if unreachable. For example on DA2, on top of building. If you can’t touch them at least make them focus on you. Since focusing is losing (watch above), they’ll begin dying in their spit if they can’t shoot something every 5 secs.
Green/ red target choice : consider choosing wisely your target. There is NO rule for choosing a red one or a green one. Too many cases to explain : depends on kits, pills, distance from safe room, number of survivors around. Just remember a red survivor with temporary health will not be able to run in a few seconds. An incapped then stand up one will get 30 secs more to run. When health reaches 0 and standing up, speed is totally unmanageable for the survivors, and it’s better like this.
On the other hand, if you incap twice same survivor without letting him being healed by a kit (not pills) you know it’ll turn in grey mode, and next knockback means death. Choose wisely.- Map-specific rape points : too many to list them. About 20 critical points on each map for each chapter. You must have seen them once at least to consider yourself “experienced”. We’ll see that in IG, team. To all others, the only solution here is to play with people who know things you don’t. This is the most important point of this tutorial, and need another post, which I won’t make because it’ll be too long.
- Zombie character guessing : as said above, you can guess what zombie you’ll get if you take a look at others. 1 max boomer, 1 max smoker per team.
> For example, if no one dies before the AI director chooses a zombie for you and there are already smoker/hunter/boomer, you’ll obviously get a hunter.
> If hunter/hunter/smoker, you’ll get a boomer or a hunter.
> If hunter/hunter/hunter, you can get any of them, most of the time smoker, then boomer then (rare) a fourth hunter.
> If hunter/hunter/boomer, you’ll get a smoker most of the time, maybe a hunter.
Be careful, boomers and smokers have a director countdown timer. You can’t get boomer right after the living one dies. Same for smoker. That’s the rare case to get 3 hunters or more. - 5 vs 4 : just let the AI take the tank when the other team is too strong for you. You ‘ll get back a special infected, making 5 special infected at a time. Same thing when you become the tank, you have 3 seconds to park your zombie and give it to AI director. It will only use it when survivors move or if get in the director’s range (about 50 meters, same as on Campaign mode).
Consider the witch as another way to play 5 vs 4. Of course.
Aimfags morale breakdown : this game is about morale (don’t tell me I played Guild Wars too much !). The best team can play like iron men, once they begin losing their concentration, it’s open for your team to enforce their defenses.- Survivor aiming skills sense : you must spoil a few spawns to evaluate your opponents’ strength. If you get HS in sideways jump with hunter, the first time will be luck the second will be skills. Count how many survivors are puked as an average before boomers die. Count the times the boomers and smokers escape safely without dying. Count the average times a hunter strikes a pounced target. Watch how they manage a witch an a tank. You’ll adapt your way of playing according to these elements.
Witch alarm clocking :
> A witch in a boomer explosion AOE is awoken.
> A witch in a pipe AOE or a molotov AOE is awoken.
> A witch clawed by a hunter or smoker if survivors are in witch area is awoken (even after patch, it won’t attack you).
> A single shot on a witch will wake her up. If you hide like a lamer behind it, a noob survivor might try to kill you.- Alarm booming : a boomer that explodes on an alarmed car triggers it. On the opposite, a tank hitting a car with alarm ready shuts it down.
- Hide’n puke, my personal record is 15 consecutive pukes on one single round. Just puke from safe spot and make sure you can hide when survivors pass next to you without being shot through walls, or even better : just make sure you can go back to the beginning of the level, even to the first safe room or further. The game allows you to respawn closer to survivors if you are blocked. You aren’t but use it as an advantage.
Puke, get away, reload, and when you know your countdown is almost over, press the action key to get closer and puke twice. If you’re good at booming, keep the fatty. You don’t need to let the noobs take it. Your health stays the same and this does NOT reset your puke timer, but when in blue invisible respawn state, you won’t see your puke timer so try to hit the action key at the last moment. Even hitting one survivor without dying every 35 secs (average) is a good pressure. Trust me if I tell you it’s too much for most mid/low teams. This also breaks down aimfags morale because they hate being puked without having seen where it came from.
Most efficient morale breakdown tech along with successful tank throws and out-of-range incaps (like sewers on NM3).
For obvious reasons (monopolizing the boomer or being taken for a noob going backwards), you might get kicked by noob ununderstanding what you’re doing actually. They don’t owe your presence, then, just let yourself being kicked and join another game. - Far respawn : this tech ONLY works from the survivors tracks. It can’t work from ahead oh them, unless they already got close enough from this spot. You can respawn next to survivors and go back to blur invisible state if you’re too far as I just said. Nice with boomer, but also avalaible for smokers and hunters, though a bit uesless. Rare useful cases with these ones. Just remember the director gives you random in-range spot next to survivors EACH time you press the key, sometimes you’ll get unreachable points for a boomer or a smoker! Try it!
Dead eyesight blank points : some spots for a smoker are very precise and hard to spot. Most survivors will try to shoot you as a reflex if you wrap them in your tongue. The time left to react is proportionnal to the distance between you and the survivor, between 1 foot and 100 feet (33 meters “Big drag” achievement distance). If you can hide behind corners or items on the ground, you might get the precious 2/3 additionnal seconds to drag survivor away from team core position. Don’t get in their sight. And remember you make some noise.- Pole/pylon spawnhides : your spawn ablilites are only defined by four things :
> whether all survivors are far enough or not from your range,
> whether there are no items blocking spawn spots, >
> whether survivor are all in safe room area, at start or in the end (you’ll have 1 sec only since may patch to spawn after they made it)
> and whether there can a be a line drawn between survivors’ eyes and yours without being broken by a clipped physical object.
That means you can spawn anywhere, provided you respect those conditions, including behind poles, crates, or anything larger than 10cm and clipped (which means that can stop you or surviors from stepping into it. - Smoker dragback : remember the best thing to do with a smoker after falldown incap is to make the team be forced to turn back. Most people consider the smoker as the hardest zombie to play. It is. Weak , slow, can be killed before incap, stun on tongue break, long reload time (2s free break, 15 if successful wrap). So at least, consider your role is to gain time and make survivors have to go back.
- Respawn time decreases along with the numbers of players : 30, 20, 10 and 5. Keep in mind that you can use it as an advantage,
Tank traffic fluidify : since police failed to clear the roads (all gone zombies, remember?), tanks seem perfect to do it. Cars and dustbins are perfect for one-shot incap. Crouch to strike your item in a less random line. The game is a bit buggy with this because tank damage is reduced to incapped survivors, but triggers each time an item crosses a survivor’s clipped point (about one thousand on each survivor’s wireframe). That’s why you can get impressive scores with heavy items (my noob record is 35000, seen 70000 on a dead corner!). Remember this as the most damaging tank technique.
Oh, and one more thing : if you need precision, crouch the tank before shooting. You’ll take less damage and shoot stright forward, not in random pattern (yes the tank punch is a weapon, so it HAS a shoot pattern), but you’ll strike it with less strength and your item won’t go as far and will move more slowly.- Claws, if other players are either way better than you or in red, you must claw them. Makes more damage than a fail pounce. Remember hunters make no noise when they’re not crouching and attack faster than smokers. Best tech with repeat incap against Shiva stack.
- Tony Lamiche : climb, climb, climb ! Like on BH5 at start, or BH1 at start too. When you crouch, you can climb lots of walls that are less than 100° angle from the ground.
- Scattering :
- Tank vs witch : you’ ll kill the with if you crunch it with a tank. She won’t attack survivors.
Backflip climbing : though people have noticed it long time ago, this hasn’t been patched. Just stand down a huge wall, aim 160° above your head right above your head turning back from the wall and getting straight next to it. Hold down back key and crouch. When you’ll start jumping you’ll take advantage of a bug in the hunter’s wall-bouncing ability and begin climbing the wall. Favourite spots : NM2 at the end, BH4/5 on farm silos, NM1 before the subway entrance on opposite buildings. The campaigns from the survival pack have been well patched against this exploit. Too bad.
That’s it mates, I hope you enjoyed the reading. I know talking is an easy thing, playing is another one.
I won’t tell about alternative fag techs, such as votespamming, community finding, chat spamming or flaming. I reserve all these noobs techs for noobs. This is totally out of gaming. After 500/600 hours of intense gaming, I don’t play this game anymore for fun, but for the satisfaction of helping noobs to wake up and pwn oldies. What I’m keen on is getting out of impossible situations.
If you really want challenge, just join random VS games: most of the time you’ll be on the losing team, the one with ragequits. You won’t make most random games with the same people from the beginning to the end. So prepare to face epic challenges, being flamed on the time (flaming on winning team is the most stupid thing to do).
And if you read these things :
- “Cry moar”
- “Whine moar”
- “QQ”
- “Cry noob”
Or any other BS, don’t worry: this just means you’re on the team making progresses. The other one is not. When you have 4 rushing shotfags with lucky timings against your team of new players who take 5 minutes to cross the first 50 meters, using 4 kits and being alreay in red, you know there’s some challenge.

About this page : when you register, admins give you an account. In your account (click on your nickname on top right corner of the dashboard after you log in), you can set additional fields and data. You can define the name of the field on the left and the data on the right.
There are some fields I strongly encourage you to fill in :
- SteamID - this one has now gone old and won’t be used anymore. Just avoid using without a reason.
- Role - use it to define your role inside the team. Don’t mention it if you don’t need to.
- FBG - all caps here, only put a link to your FBG profile. This should be a URL (given by FBG on your account page)
- SteamAccount - this one is really important ! I want all iRage members to fill at least this field. Go to your steam community page, edit your account, there should be a field named “Custom URL” : fill in this one and copy/paste what you put in the meta field on your iRageprofile here. This is used to display your steam status and info on the site. All this information are public, theres no security issue with it, and it won’t give any personal unwanted data. As you know, this site is using WordPress.
And as you also know, we got lots of different people coming from all sides. Therefore, we might not give everyone full rights on this site, or any quit or join will be a real mess
!!!
So let me give you a glimpse on WP privacy.
- Your e-mail is only used for password management. It’s not displayed anywhere on the site and no one can get it other than your account and administrators.
- We only use Steam_ID to display your current status on the site, in the members page. Anyway, the Steam_ID is a public number. No one can do bad things with it, no one can use it for any stupid reason.
- Your account will be given some rights on this site, according to your importance in the team.
User roles provide bloggers with an easy and flexible way to control access to various WordPress feature. Unfortunately the user role system can be confusing to new bloggers. Even experienced WordPress users are frequently baffled by the role system and the permissions that are associated with each role.
So first of all I’m giving you all the differents rights and a overview chart to summarize this, there are five roles in WP : Administrator, Editor, Author, Contributor, Subscriber.
These roles have different rights. Just take a look :

Now you got this, I can tell you everyone will be granted the “contributor” rights so you can propose a post. Feel free to post anything you like on this site. Admins and editors will publish what you posted if it fits the site. Don’t post porn, violent pictures or such things, pleaaaaase. It’s useless.
Admins will receive e-mails notifying them about comments and new posts. You can ask for a post anywhere, but when you prepare it, please try to only post in Evil News category. We won’t be publishing your posts anywhere else.
Id’l like you all to make a post on this site when you enter Evil team. This is cool for all other members.
Anyone can comment the posts and there is an antispam filter to protect our data.
Hope you got it all, should you be more insterested, contact me or go to this page.
